Bio
Michael Joseph Alaimo was born in Milwaukee, Winsconsin, USA, as son of Italian immigrants (coming from Puglia and Sicily). Unfortunately no one knew, when exactly he was born; anyhow his birthday is celebrated on the 5th of May.
The rough boy's acting talent was discovered in high school by father Walsh. He was asked to play a hanged man - and his performance made girls in the room cry.
After the Marquette University Players and the Milwaukee Repertory Theater Company, Marc went to New York. In 1973 he got a recurring role of Virgil Paris in soap opera Somerset.
From that time he had bigger or smaller roles in numerous police series' episodes, usually as a bad guy, not living 'til the end of an episode.
In 1987 he appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation for the first time. Besides an Antican, a Romulan and a human, he was the first ever Cardassian - Gul Macet. The next Star Trek series, Deep Space Nine, brought a role of a recurring villain - Gul Dukat.
Marc has a son and a daughter, both born on May 5th.
