Bio
Born: Michael Anthony Thomas Charles Hall
April 14, 1968
Boston, MA
Anthony is one of the rare talents who became a child star and has gone on to forge a successful acting career as an adult.
In the eighties, his career began with well-loved starring turns as a geek in classics like National Lampoon's Vacation, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Weird Science. His roles have grown more varied over the years, including parts as a gay man living on the street in the critically-acclaimed Six Degrees of Separation; as brilliant Microsoft mogul Bill Gates in the Emmy-nominated TNT original movie The Pirates of Silicon Valley, opposite Noah Wyle; as an abusive bully in Edward Scissorhands; and as a host of crazy characters during a two-year stint on Saturday Night Live where he was (and remains) the youngest cast member in the show's history.
Hall has also starred in the USA Original Movie Hitched, opposite Sheryl Lee, and starred in HBO's highly-acclaimed 61* as legendary lefty pitcher Whitey Ford opposite Barry Pepper and Thomas Jane. Additional credits include The Caveman's Valentine, opposite Samuel L. Jackson; Freddy Got Fingered, opposite Tom Green; Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story for VH1; and All About the Benjamins, opposite Ice Cube.
Anthony is also committed to pursuing his other passion: music. He has released his first album on RAM Records with his band "Hall of Mirrors," and his songs have been featured on the soundtrack for Freddy Got Fingered and in an episode of The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, in which he also guest-starred.
